Our mission

The law across the Gulf changes constantly — new circulars, court rulings, visa rules and regulatory notices land with real consequences for residents, employers and travellers. Our mission is to report those changes quickly, accurately and in plain language, grounded in official sources.

We exist to make legal developments in the region understandable and verifiable, so readers can see not just what changed, but where the change is documented.

Editorial team structure

The newsroom is staffed by News Reporters who cover defined beats and are accountable for the accuracy of their reporting. Stories pass a legal review gate before publication.

Reporting is governed by our Editorial Policy, Fact-Checking Policy and Corrections Policy, which together set the standards for how we source, verify and correct the news.

News Reporters vs. Legal Authors

Wirestork keeps two distinct groups of contributors, deliberately and structurally separate.

News Reporters write the newsroom's time-sensitive reporting. Legal Authors write Wirestork's evergreen legal guides and answer legal questions. The two are separated at the system level: a reporter cannot be bylined on a legal guide, and a legal author cannot be bylined on a news story.

This separation keeps news reporting independent from legal-services content, and makes clear to readers which is which.
